ANNA NETREBKO: A 21st CENTURY DIVA

Anna Netrebko is the most captivating opera singer of our time. She has been singing professionally for over 25 years, beginning with a light, lyric voice. Over the years her voice has matured and darkened, greatly expanding the repertoire that suits her. She is one of the few iconic opera stars, instantly recognizable by her vocal glamor, international telecasts, outlandish outfits and Instagram account. On stage she is a force of nature and a compelling actress. This course will showcase her talents with a series of examples from her early days at the Mariinsky Theatre to her most recent appearances as a star of the highest magnitude at every major opera house.
